INSIGHTS / REMOTE TEAMS

Integration beats delegation.

There are two ways to work with a remote professional: delegate tasks or integrate them into the business. The results are very different.

Delegation treats someone like a queue: tasks in, output back. It works for a while, then plateaus because they never learn the business well enough to improve it.

Integration makes them part of the team. They join meetings, use your systems, speak with customers and own recurring responsibilities. Over time, they understand the business well enough to spot problems before you do.

The practical difference is small: a meeting invite, a real login and a manager who gives feedback.

The commercial difference compounds every quarter.
